A former co worker of mine have pancreatic cancer what are his option?
He's a U.S. citizen, and now can't work and hasn't for about 6 months and has just now lost his insurance. Where does he go from here. Are their any Govt programs for him.

I am commenting simply, I lost my mom in February to pancreatic cancer, from our experiences any treatment given is only paliative (to keep backache under control) it seem inhumane that there would be no oblige! I am so sad that this is even a issue for someone who is a citizen of the united states and has probably rewarded taxes his entire career. I hope the best for him and I wish I had a tricks solution for you. Maybe you could call you local hospice program and see if they have any suggestions, they are not only for expire of life situations.

Well i have cysts on my bile ducts and if not operate on i will get pancreatic cancer which for many is no cure and my insurance is horrible so the hospital sent me to the county hospital but they have great doctors and surgeon's and that's where on earth they take the police when they get shot or hurt' so it's all right.Your friend should make an appointment to see a new doctor there and after she have seen him she can set him up with meds and a hospital room if needed and they let you recompense little at a time as long as you don't owe mass bills.Good luck to you and your friend.
