About Cigarettes (information for culture thinking more or less starting)?
I saw a question posed about nicotine addiction/cigarettes/etc. Here is how it works to anyone who it wondering. The first cigarette you inhale, is relaxing and wonderful. It is fast acting but it is short lived. The problem is that the large doesn't return each time you smoke, you don't become addicted it just becomes persistent and expensive. Smoking a cigarette once a day or so allows you to enjoy that high profusely more, with fewer costs, but requires a lot more self control. But if you've never smoked and I know this sounds cliche, but try not to start. There are plenty of reason those anti tobacco fascist state but the the truth of the matter is this... it can become expensive because tobacco tax is too high, and sometimes you'll stir up with shortness of breath and coughing, which is a very scary hunch. When I was younger I was diagnosed with Pneumonia (before I ever smoked a cigarette). And to be exact relatively the same feeling. I hope this helped anyone. I only wanted to educate kids on real facts not those bullshit TV commercial pseudo proven studies.
Answers: Well smoking IS addictive, and it is caused by the so call Highs being shorter every time, and the body wanting more to keep the high up. You can't merely smoke one a day, your body and brain won't let you.
It is not just tobacco, it's marijuana and the other sturdy drugs as well, they all con the brain into thinking they are harmless, when they are adjectives slowly killing you.
t this isn't a question it is just a statement. Second of adjectives, yes it is addictive. A few years ago when I quit (cold turkey) I went through severe withdrawal. If it's not addictive then you should be capable of stop with no problem. Just like if you drink a lot of caffeine every daylight. When you stop you can get really bad headaches and migraines. I can agree beside most of this statement and knowing what it does to your life I support anyone who does not start and tries to help others from starting.
Yes - thanx for that - I hope some kids read it. I smoked too - and everything you say is true. You do sometimes feel really neat and relaxed on a first cigarette. After that it's pretty horrible, ugly.
Ain't worth it!
Tv commercials with pseudo scientific facts... as you are the one claiming you dont become addicted. Nicotine certainly is addictive, chemically, and THAT is a scientific fact.
If its not addictive, be it chemically or mentally, then why does it take so much self control to only smoke one cig a sunshine?? Lots of things are habitual... I dont remember that I turned out the light half the time, because its dyed-in-the-wool. But I can consciously remember not off the light, and it doesnt drive me crazy that I didnt turn it off. Im not dying adjectives day to get to a point where I can step turn it off.
You say the problem is that the high doesnt return respectively time you smoke. If only that was true. I wouldnt call it a dignified, but it IS relaxing each time (which is so counter intuitive since nicotine is an upper not a downer).
