X stream results - Ireland?

How long does it take for your x ray result to come through in Ireland when you are on a medical card (i.e. no vigour insurance). They said about a week, but do you hear sooner if there is something wrong? (Ireland only please, for relevance reasons).
Answers:    They copy the result vocally and your doctor rings up and hears the recording from the radiologist who reviews your x sunbeam....its about 1 week regardless of what's wrong
