How effect is laser surgery contained by prostate cancer?

One treatment does not own a clear advantage in terms of overall survival over others when it comes to prostate cancer. Laser surgery is not a adjectives treatment and I would be curious to know how the tumor size was determined as prostate cancer is often diffused.
