Activities for a cancer lenient?

My mom is currently undergoing chemotherapy. For the first 7-ish days after chemo, she is mostly too sick to do much but lie/sit up in bed to eat and keep under surveillance TV.
TV (programmes and movies) is getting boring. And she can't read (a book or from the computer screen) for more than a few minutes without getting a headache. Because of the low imperviousness caused by chemo, she doesn't wish to go out any. She doesn't sew/knit either...
I'm at a loss as to how to help her spend her time to keep her thoughts away from the torment and suffering that she is currently going through.
Any and all help regarding this issue (and anything else to serve us through this) will be very very much appreciated!
Answers:     Get her a journal. It could be a fancy tablet or a record book. I love keeping mine. It shows progress/a private place to hide pictures.
my mom too is currently undergoing chemo.. receive sure she dosent eat anything with sugar cancer feeds past its sell-by date of it. as far as activities. start with really short walks if she is of a mind or some cross word puzzles to keep the brain stimulated, maybe some video games...
Much as I love to read during chemo, and in out of the ordinary during that week after treatment, I couldn't concentrate on it.
ister bought me all the things necessary to make greetings cards - you can attain stuff from hobby and craft shops - and it was ideal because I could do it for as long or as short a period as I feel able to, and just put it aside till next time. It be absorbing but didn't require concentration in the same way as reading does. And I didn't enjoy to buy a birthday or Christmas card for years!

Audio books were another blessing. And some people I know have found puzzles a righteous way of passing the time.

BTW, it's a myth that cancer feeds on sugar. Whatever your mother feel like eating and feels she will know how to manage is what she should be eating
