Do CT scan ambush brain tumors?
Hi! I been having problems with headache and my neck also has been stiff. The docs give me a CT scan and everything came back normal. Do CT scan catch brain tumors, or could have it missed something?? Its now almost august and I still discern down but my headaches and stiff neck pain have gone down alot so Im not in as muh pain! Should I trust the CT scan? thanks
P.S. I also have my wisdom teeth taken out so I know its not that and I also have a memory foam pillow!
Answers: Thats what CT scans are for, my grandson be 9 years old and had headaches and nought helped, they done a CT scan looking for tumours, it came back gloomy, he had his eyes tested and got very mild lenses and the headache have gone - he gets them ocassionaly - memory foam pillows give me pains within my neck.
A ct scan showed a "lesion" as they called it but couldn't speak for sure if it was a tumor but they did know for sure that it needed to come out. But my belief is that you can trust the results of your ct scan. If you don't, then maybe you should ask to own an MRI, it takes more pics and will be able to show the actual tumor. Did they give you contrast dye during your ct scan? If not after redo with the dye.
A ct will detect a brain tumor. That's how mine was found and my husband be told while I was passed out from sedatives because of the seizure. The memory foam pillows supply me headaches and ear pain.
GOD BLESS YOU!
