I am on taxol and enjoy have a raspy voice for 3 weeks. Is this a side effect or something more?
The taxol is for breast cancer and now I'm worried about the raspy voice being a cancer. What info do you hold on any of this?
Answers: I had taxol during chemo for breast cancer and never heard of this side effect. I did get two unpromising colds while on it and they didn't clear up as easily as usual. Could be you have laryngitis or some other infection that is not clearing up capably because of a weakened immune system. I would call your oncologist.
