Can they surgically remove cancer from the prostrate in need removing the full prostrate?

If it's real small? Like what Dodd said he's going to have done. I had 3 difficult than normal PSAs but not out of the max range. The doc can't feel a entry but I'm having a biopsy to be certain.
Answers:    Yes. They only remove the cancerous parts. But most of the time, they purloin the whole prostate. And by the way, It's spelled "prostate." The way you spelled it channel standing up straight.
Not with any certainty and it would not be recommended. Prostate cancers are diffused significance it is scattered throughout the prostate and does not have a single solitary tumor. Although it may only be within one lobe the entire prostate must be examined to know. It really would not be worth going through this procedure and not take the whole thing. If you do agree on to go this route I suggest you consider robotic surgery.
