How do you know if your lymph node is easier said than done?
I have a swollen lymph node behind my ear but how do I know if it is hard?
I can read out is that when I put my index finger on it I can massage the skin around and it dosent cause any pain.
If it be a hard lymph node would I be able to do this?

Yes. It feels resembling a pea. You can move it around. Do you have a cold? I had a mouth full of cold sores once after getting over a fever and I have a hard lymph node under my jaw. Of course, I thought I have cancer but one of the residents I worked with told me to come back after the cold sores went away. The cold sores go away and so did the lymph node. It was working over time fighting my infection.
