Can she really hold cervical cancer?

My friend Danielle went to get ger first Pap Smear a few days ago, and came fund to school crying.
elle is a little joker, but she seem 100 percent serious.
The doctor said she was pretty sure thats what Danielle had, or so Danielle said.
Her mom even had cervical cancer and have her uterus removed.
But Danielle is so young....
Could she really have it?
Answers:     Yes, she could
how childish is "so young?" Very common to have unusual findings within young women, esp sexually active, and would be unusual for a doctor to say anything short an actual biopsy result. Of course she "could..." but does she? Prob not.
There is no way to give an account if she has cancer from the pap smear. The pap smear is a screening tool and it is not diagnostic.
probably had an abnormal pap smear. Even the worst pap smear results (HSIL and AGCUS) usually do not be set to cancer.

What the doctor probably said was that she has some precancerous abnormalities which MIGHT enjoy the potential to become cancer if not treated. The treatment will not affect her ability to have a infant. Most likely, however, she will not need treatment and the abnormalities will basically go away on their own.

I stand by my assertion. The pap smear does screen for cervical cancer, but no one can be diagnosed next to cervical cancer from a pap smear.

For a doctor to call a patient after a pap smear and say, "You probably own cervical cancer" would be completely irresposible. It would be time to get a new doctor.
pap smear is a scraping of cell only. It tells you whether or not the cells are anomalous. To diagnose whether those cells have become invasive absolutely requires a biopsy. The most doomed to failure looking cells would be HSIL. HSIL could mean cancer, but MUCH more often it would stingy CIN 3 which is precancer.

All the pap smear can really tell you is whether you need more tests.
I looked it up for you and it said that cervical cancer normally doesn't occur before the age of 25 but nought is impossible. Cancer doesn't care how old you are. I'm going to do more info for you and see if I can get better answers. Tell your friend never to loose hope I could be Just an infection and I don`t know she needs to see another Dr, for another opinion bi I will more info if I can, Tell her to hang surrounded by there.
