Lymph nodes are part of the lymph system in your body. People own hundreds of lymph nodes throughout their body. They move fluids around and the help the body heal or they spread infection (depending on what is going on). You have lymph nodes within all of these locations:
e your eyes
next to your eyes
under your eyes subsequent to your nose
under your chin
he front of your nouns just above your chest bone
under your chest bone, there is a voluminous one near the heart
your armpits
top of your stomach just under the bottom of your rib hold
back of your knee
your ankles
I'm not sure why they are checking your lymph nodes during a physical unless they are checking to see if any of them are swollen (usually a sign of an infection).
lymph nodes are sector of the immune system and act like filters. They are literally everywhere. The check for lymph nodes is by palpating, or fear for them under the skin. He will problably not check every node, perhaps the ones that are easy to capture to, such as in your neck. Don't worry, it wont hurt.

You should be much more concerned going on for the hernia check (cough, cough). Anyway, good luck.
a doctor usually looks for lymph nodes within the following regions.
