A notion roughly speaking cancer?
Cancer is uncontrolled cell division, right, and these cells need energy to divide to produce tumas as a result. This is why those with cancer get very meagre because the cells uncontrollably dividing use up lots of the stored energy within the body (and the energy coming from food)
ly if you starve youself to the point that you can just stay alive, you will rapidly slim down the rate of tuma growth. A huge issue at the moment with cancer is just how fast the cancer develops after the personage has been diagnosed. If starving yourself would slim down the rate of tuma growth, doctors would have more time to make decsions and the decision they wish would be more likely to be succesful.
For example if they decide to remove the tumas in surgery, seeing as they havnt developed as much (due to adjectives yourself) the risk will dramatically decrease and the chances of success will dramtically increase. Another problem near cancer is that many people dont have the resort of surgery due to it being 'too late' because of the rapid growth. This would solve that problem.
ally, one in five cancer patients die from malnutrition rather from next the cancer itself. Our goal (for those of us that do have cancer) is to nourish ourselves as much as we can so we can verbs to fight the cancer, and the treatments.
Here's what I know. You spelled tumor wrong. If you starved yourself, your tumor would still thrive. Most people who have cancer are NOT very skeletal. Also, surgery is a very viable option in cancer treatment. That's what I know, not what I "believe." Your thinking, however, is wrong.
Sorry for the bluntness. I'm usually very cordial, but sometimes "things" get to me and I carry it over. Please adopt my apology for my bluntness.
ord. You have received some scientifically incorrect answers to this interesting query. There is a large body of scientific research that indicates obesity, cargo gain, weight loss, and calorie restriction can impact cancer risks.
Here are a few examples of comments in the scientific literature - near links to the actual papers.

Cancer cells need tentative blood vessels to grow.
They are making drugs to stop the tumor from growing.
Tumors grow fast &need a great deal of energy.
ATP energy.
On the details, it seems plausible, but if you know a little more about this sort of point you'll see a couple of problems. Firstly starving yourself to the point where you are 'just competent to survive' would sadly not work, since tumOUR (Australian or tumOR American) cells are just as greedy for enthusiasm as other cells in the body, thus, any energy you grant yourself in order to survive will be evenly spread to all cell in the body including the neoplasmic (cancerous) cells. Another downfall is that by starving yourself, your immune system, liveliness, and other requisites for good post operative recovery would be affected, so recouping from surgery or treatment would be impaired. Finally, when you starve yourself, the body breaks down tissues that aren't absolutely vital to nurture its energy requirements, so muscles etc. would be broken down (complex process), the tumour would not undergo this same breakdown, since one of the factors cause continual cell proliferation, thus tumour growth, is the blocking of a gene in cells that causes their extermination (apoptosis).
