I am a blood donor twise a year is nearby any side effect?

I have given blood 50 times in my life. There is possibly one positive side effect. There may be a correlation to lower heart disease because you would enjoy less iron in your blood.

There seems to be a links to dignified iron and heart disease. There is speculation that women who are still menstruating helps to keep them from heart disease.
The only side effect I know of is that perfect feeling you get from knowing you helped to squirrel away strangers' lives... and maybe a fuller belly from the free snacks they give you.
