If a stoke forgiving have difficulty surrounded by optical perception, where on earth might the demage be contained by the brain?

Answers:    In the human visual system wishy-washy from either half of the world crosses through the pupils to strike the opposite side of respectively retina. Information from the left half of each retina travels to the LEFT hemisphere of the brain. Information from the right partly of each retina travels to the RIGHT hemisphere of the brain.
nswer your question though the damage would be within the Lateral geniculate nucleus or (LGN).
