First of all, until those experiment prove that you are disabled because of the cancer, you will be denied. Having cancer doesn't make you disabled. It is not a disability, it's a pain in the a$$. If after your oral exam, your Dr feels you can't work anymore, or you have to be bed ridden, then your Dr. will own to write to the SSI and tell them, That's what 2 of my Dr's did. I am on disability and not because of cancer. I have other problems I just don't want to acquire into. But I'm sorry, I think you will be denied SSI for the time being. Sucky as that sounds, that's the way it works. There is about 50 diseases that warrant an automatic approval. Big but here, BUT even if you are approved, you still hold to wait your 6 month waiting period and you will not be paid spinal column pay for those 6 months.
