Question around Lantus insulin for diabetes?
Has anyone experienced weakness or seizures using Lantus? I have be taking it for about 3 weeks now . I didn't feel this bearing before taking lantus. My doctor said that it isn't the lantus. I just want to make sure that not a soul else has experienced that.
Answers: i have not experienced seizures or thinness, but since being diagnosed and started taking insulin i have had vertigo [being amazingly dizzy]. this may or may not be related to the lantus. but you should talk to your doctor about it.
Allergic reaction (skin irritations) are about the only side effect that a few people experience near Lantus, most everyone does just fine with it. Weakness and/or seizures are not nominated as possible adverse reactions. Make sure he runs more tests until you figure it out, but I agree that it shouldn't be the Lantus.
