Am I Diabetic or Hypoglycemic?

I am in the Army and they are horrible about getting test results posterior to everyone here. I had a blood test and urine test done around two weeks ago and they still havent gotten back to me, but my symptoms are that ill feel fine most of the time, but out of nowhere, below par just feel REALLY weak and off-colour get really really shaky, and cranky. I feel like if i dont win food immediately then i would pass out. and i bring cranky to the point where i feel like hitting anyone that get in my way of getting some food... diabetes runs in my home a lot (grandma, aunts, sister, mom, etc...) but it almost seems like the contrasting of diabetes since i need the sugar in my body to function normally, which would head me to believe i am hypoglycemic? please help...
Answers:     It's most probable that you are working out really hard and then are super hungry. What you describe doesn't sound close to diabetes at all, and hypoglycemia just isn't that common. Can you see a nurse or doctor when you enjoy this feeling and ask for a blood sugar check?
It's possible to be both hypoglycemic and diabetic at the same time.
he pancreas intermittently puts out too much insulin (hypoglycemia) and then too little (diabetes) some individuals can have both.

But the test are necessary to determine if you do have either one or both.

If your within the army, you might try to email the Doctor that saw you and ask. I know how hard it is just to get an appt. within the military. Also, if you have morning "sick call", you might try to get in in attendance. Good luck.
