Am I going to carry Diabetes?

I've had issues with eating disorders just this minute and am currently at a healthy weight (bmi 20), and i'm a 16 y.o female.
worried that I am drinking so much chocolate and non nutritious foods that I will get health problems soon. My grandpa has type 2 diabetes so it is surrounded by the family.

How many calories should I cut it down to? (I'm having 3000+ everyday), and will I probably return with diabetes and other problems?
Thank you.
Answers:    Well done for realising you have had problems with ingestion disorders and dealing with them.

Good for you recovering from an ED
The amount of calories you need on a day to day spring depends on your level of activity and what your goals are whether you want to gain, lose or carry on weight. Assuming you are a semi active 16yr old contained by school with a good metabolism and you be trying to maintain or lose a couple of pounds you could be healthy with 1500-2000 calories a daylight. Note those calories should be from healthy food choices and not Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut. If you were highly helpful all day and in sports after 2000-2500.

Type 2 diabetes is strongly associated with being overweight, but it's less clear what cause it, compared to the Type 1 disease.
If other members of your family have Type 2 diabetes, this increases your risk of getting the condition.
