My fingerstick blood sugar be 167. Is this the start of diabetes?

It seems like any time I eat anything I discern sick afterwards. I work in a hospital so when I began to feel sick and nauseaus they checked my BS and it come up 167 on the AccuCheck. Does this mean I have diabetes? I have be pre-diabetic for years now. Also before I get attacked to contact my doctor, I plan on doing so on Monday, in recent times looking for some insight.
