Am I a diabetic and I don't know?
Hi, I'm a 12 year old girl. It's been hot the past two days here surrounded by Pennsylvania, like very Humid.. And all of a sudden I'm so thirsty and dry mouthed. I looked it up on Y/A and it said could be a sign on Diabetes.. But I don't move about the the Bathroom a lot.. And I think I'm making my self even MORE thirstyer because I'm thinking about it so much. So, do you estimate it's because I'm worrying too much,s o I'm stressing myself out and making myself thirsty?
Answers: You are most likely more thirsty than normal due to the heat. Your body requests extra fluid to make up for what evaporates with perspiration, hence not needing to run to the bathroom a lot. Most the time being thirstier than normal is simply a sign you have need of more fluids!
It is most likely the heat, if you were diabetic you would most promising also be:
nating frequently
-Increased tiredness
Those are the main things you would be feeling. After it cools off you should run back to normal.
