5.3mmol/l darkness time glucose level.?

Hiya, i have slight suspicians about being diabetic so get a home glucose monitor a while ago to test my levels as i did not want to to to my doctor if it turned out to be nothing. I own had an increased thirst and very often im getting classis 'low sugar' similar to feelings.. atleast on a weekly basis, this has happen every night now too, and i am having to preserve food and glucose tablets in my room to help me feel better. tonight i be feeling like the classic low blood sugars e.g: faint, headache, craving for sweets, dizzy, suden call for for food, and an increase in my depressive mood. When i took my sugar levels it read at 5.3mmol/l and i have have a normal dinner like i would normally would but also have chocolate around 10 olock, is this normal? i have had some dextro tablets and emotion better now.. do you think it could be a sign of diabetes? i get problems beside blurred vision ect and wonder if its all linked?

blood glucose reading of 5.3 mmol/l (95 mg/dL, for our American cousins) is perfectly 'normal' for a non-diabetic.

If you do believe you have a problem next to hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose levels), you really need to see your doctor and ask if s/he will arrange for a glucose tolerance test.

Edit:

Thank you, M. Have a thumbs up from me. ;-)
