Am i a diabetic if my blood is 162 and i have a coke too..?
Hello,
I ate like 30 minutes ago and just tested my blood sugar it is: 162 does that mean I'm a diabetic?
Answers: no but if you enjoy 3 blood sugar readings over 126 you are pre-diabetic. Source(s): type 1 diabetic
No - but if within two hours, if your blood sugar horizontal is not down below 110, then you may be exhibiting the characteristics of insulin resistance/diabetes.
cally in non-diabetics: we eat - our blood sugar rises - insulin is released - blood sugar drops. Plain and simple.
-Chad, RN ICU
Reading must be made after 2 hours. Below that will show a high reading depending what you ate. A can of coke is equivalent to 6 teaspoon of sugar. Avoid it and try coke light or zero. You are not a diabetic at this reading
No... Normal blood sugar can be anywhere from 60 to 160.
