t;It is a bit on the higher end of the range, though. As fast levels are USUALLY lower, like 70-80."
I only added the beat now.
I must congratulate you for checking my words up with a doctor, though. Source(s): My answer to angel's previous question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…
15 years (since 1994) experience with my type 1 diabetes.
k out http://BloodSugarCharts.ORG/ for info on making those blood sugar charts that are so adjectives to diabetics and their doctors.
Are you incredibly thirsty all the time but can't seem to drink enough marine? Are you overweight? Does eating sugary things make you feel a tad loopy?
It could freshly be that you ate something incredibly sugary that day, or you were having problems next to this that and the other thing that one particular day, but not necessarily diabetes.
I think more research is needed than this one single test indication. Look up diabetes symptoms and diagnosis on Google.
Heres what to do. Buy or borrow a glucose meter. And go to this website.http://www.phlaunt.com/diabetes/14046889…
And do as it says . Then you will know. I would outline it, but not enough room here on answers. The numbers that your doctor uses will not let somebody know if you are pre diabetic or not. But I will give you the numbers for a fasting test. Remember within not entirely accurate, but more accurate than your doctors numbers or diagnoses.
83 mg/dl (4.6 mmol/L) or less.
Many normal associates have fasting blood sugars in the mid and dignified 70 mg/dl (3.9 mmol/L) range.
gh most doctors will tell you any fasting blood sugar lower than 100 mg/dl (5.6 mmol/L) is "normal", there are several studies that suggest that testing with a fast blood sugar in the mid 90 mg/dl (5 mmol/L) range often predicts diabetes i.e. diagnosed a decade later.
Your doctor goes by the ADA numbers.Which are flawed.
Do the test next to a bagel or 8 oz. potato and you will really know. By the time your doctor diagnoses you you may already have renal damage or eye damage or heart weaken.
My guess is that you are pre diabetic. If you want more info contact me.
