My grandparents be diabetic and my dad is diabetic..
our grandmother likes exploring different foods.. that would greatly help.. there are intuitive unprocessed foods with mild levels of sugar that will help her say her sugar levels.
The meds.. may or may not be sufficient .. only time can put in the picture on that.. if she is not getting mid to low level readings with her blood sugar reading.. after no the meds are not helpoing to control her blood sugar levels.. or other parts of diet have to be changed..
Stress/pain can trigger unusual sugar levels as ably.. If gran does have RA .. put her on jointjuice.. or mineral drinks with no sugar-glucosamine and minerals.. aimed at bone loss or replenishing cartilidge. No more sodas/coffee..at all.. and try to swot up about inflammatory diets..some times the natursal or processed foods we eat hurt us alot and we don't know it..
explore your options next to a cautious mind.. but have fun exploring.. we did and my father has regained/recovered more function of his kidneys and have actually reduced the amount of meds he was taking.. :)
