Answers:    You should get this checked out immediately - it sounds very serious.
joy friend who had these similar symptoms and she just lost her baby at just about 25 weeks pregnant. She had preeclampsia and didn't know until too late, she also nearly died from it at the same time. It is a completely serious condition and get worse suddenly. I don't know alot about preeclampsia because I'm still a nursing student, but it is highly recommended you run to your doctor or midwife as soon as you possibly can and tell them what's been going on with you.
To diagnose preeclampsia, usually you own three main symptoms: protein in the urine, high blood pressure, and swelling (ie/ surrounded by the legs).

You can also visit the Preeclampsia Foundation website to understand what it is and what can happen: http://www.preeclampsia.org/
t misuse time to get it checked out - you don't want to loose your baby or your own life - that's how stony serious it can be.
You can even present to Emergency Department at your local hospital if you are really concerned or get any other symptoms.

Hope this helps. Source(s): http://www.preeclampsia.org/
Protein. Protein is normally not found in the urine. Fever, hard exercise, pregnancy, and some diseases, especially kidney disease, may result in protein to be in the urine.
midwife doesn't allow you to call and ask a question? She should hold explained what this means when you go the test results. To preserve fainting is dangerous and the cause MUST be determined. Maybe it is time to see on ob/gyn? Write down adjectives you questions so you don't forget to ask. If your midwife is not available for questions outside of your appointments, then she is doing you a disservice.
Glucose in the urine indicates possible Diabetes. The doctor should ask for more test, like an A1C test or a Glucose Tolerance Test.

Protein in the urine can be a sign of kidney disease (possibly cause by diabetes), but it can ALSO be a sign of dietary problems. Again, more tests are needed to determine the cause.

PROTECT YOUR BABY! See a doctor now!
Having protein in your urine in late pregnancy is a serious item which you need to investigate further. whether UTI or Pre eclampsia, proteinuria is not good for you or your baby and you call for to check other things like your blood pressure.

Glucose is usually seen in small amounts surrounded by the urine of a pregnant woman because the renal threshhold is lower in pregnancy. To be sure it's not diabetes you need to check your blood sugar especially if you are more than 90kg or 198pounds or 14stones.
you say you hold been fainting? You know you can always stir and see your midwife even before your next scheduled appointment if you enjoy a problem. I think these are serious problems so call your midwife or go and see her. Better still, progress to a hospital.

All the best.
