Am I consuming too much sugar?
On avrage I consume this much sugar on a daily basis:
ereal, which contains 9% of my GDA
- Activia Yoghurt
- Sometimes cake at lunch time, if cake then a bar of chocolate
I'm a 16 years old girl btw. =]
Answers: sugar is never a good thing, so you can never have to little. If you are diabetic, you will find that if you cut out the sugar after it will be so much easier to stabilize your BS.
And you didn't mention the milk on your cereal, the potatoes, beans, breads, rices pastas and other things that contain a lot of SUGAR in the form of carbohydrates.
Sugar is sugar is sugar but carbohydrates are sugar too and count very heavily contained by my carb counting.
That's fine.
If you're not over weight then you are fine. And if you are have other good foods and healthy carbs then you are okay.
You're not supposed to enjoy sugar in your tea. Try Splenda or Canderel like I do.
via yoghurts contain too much sugar. Eat low-sugar or sugar-free yoghurts.
Eat cake and chocolate only before exercise and when low, or else nick extra insulin when you plan on eating sugary things.
Good luck! Source(s): I'm a 15-year-old diabetic that eats very healthily, gossip to dietitions a lot and have a HBA1c of less than 7.
no that is to say a normal amount
