Blood pressure still going up?
I'm female, 44 y.o. and have had a problem beside my blood pressure for 6 mo. now. At the time I started having problems with it, I be under alot of stress. I thought that was causing the problem. I terminated up going to the Emergency room when my BP spiked to 170/115 head hurt really bad and I was flushed looking. They did an EKG and it be fine, blood work was fine. They put me on 80 MG of Lisinopril. 40MG in the am and 40 MG at night. Didnt work. They said distribute it 2 weeks, Still didnt work. So I went to A reg. Doc and he said only take 40 MG surrounded by the am with, Amlodipine 2 1/2 MG at night. He did a blood profile, and everything came rear ok except my good choloesteral, it was to low. So he put me on fish oil 1000 MG a sunshine. plus the trusty asprin a day He also wanted me to take a dampen pill called Chlorthalid 25 MG once a day. I couldnt take the wet pill, I took 1, and my kidneys hurt so bad, I couldnt even walk. Plus, it wasnt making me go to the bathroom. So he said stop taking it. I do stipulation a water pill, My father has fluid around his heart, with big time heart problems.
