12 year infirm sister have chest strain...? Please comfort...?
My 12 year old sister is normal weight and rank, she's pretty healthy (food wise) and she's very active (competitive soccer 3x a week)
It's located on the left side, and located right where the heart is located (NOT the center) and she says the agony sometimes goes right underneath her breast. It's not a sharp pain but it's dull and she said sometimes it's hard to breathe (but I've watch her and she seemed fine) but it's really hurting her
She has gotten poor sleep and she has eat greasy foods at soccer camp but I'm very, very worried because when I feel her pulse, not only was it fast but I also feel "skipped beats" (PVC's) and I have PVC's and Mitral Valve Prolapse runs in the family
om is going to help yourself to her to the doctor AFTER she has her 3v3 soccer tournament on Saturday. Should this problem be addressed sooner or do you think waiting is fine, and I've be telling her to drink a lot of water!! (She also is complaining of muscle twitches within her arms and legs)
THANK YOU!!
Answers: that's pretty ridiculous, she should not wait until after a day of strenuous exercise with tons of added pressure to win. She should budge to the doctors immediately. So maybe it's nothing and she misses the tournament and you influence "aw shucks, what a shame". Its a much better outcome than her heart stopping on the field and knowing that you potentially could have prevented it.
