(UK) Question in the region of blood pressure procedure?

I had my blood pressure taken last October at my GP surgery. Now I am not sure whether the symptoms I now experience are due to the procedure or whether they be there before this and caused by something else.
r I have my blood pressure taken last October I had some numbness in the ends of my fingers (left arm be used for the cuff) which persisted for about 12 hours afterwards before my foot went back to normal. I am worried I am characteristic in that I had numbness for so long a period.

I hold put this down ever since to the doctor inflating the cuff to a higher than normal pressure and/or for too long a period of time up to that time releasing it. The finger tips of my left hand now seize quite red and feel hot after I have be using them e.g. after using a computer mouse or carrying shopping bags or simply if I put my left arm vertically by my side I can feel the blood flowing to my finger tips whereas doing one and the same thing with my right arm, the flow of blood to the fingers of my right hand does not appear to me to be as noticeable.

What do you think ?
Answers:    There is no connection between your symptoms and have your blood pressure taken. There is no way brief pressure could cause any long lasting overexploit to any artery. Very short term parasthesias can happen but this certainly would not final very long.

Spontaneous blood clots in the arm are very rare- much rarer than the leg and simply never happen due to BP being taken. What has likely happen is you already had an existing problem such as partial nerve entrapment and it's perhaps made the problem more pronounced.
you enjoy posted this question at least 10 times which I have see. You need to accept this. Ask your Doctor to run more tests on your arm. Stop looking for a rationale, sometimes you won't find one. Just concentrate on looking for a solution.

Sorry to see that you are still seeking answers to your ongoing problem in this forum. 10 points for persistence, but I don't think you are going to swot up anything new or to your advantage no matter how several times you post the same or similar questions.

I also think the likelihood that your symptoms have been due to a simple BP reading are negligible, here are many options I suppose RSI could be in within. You need to seen face to frontage medical advice.
