Blood pressure medication for LOW bp?

Are beta blockers the only way to control low blood pressure and a fast heart rate? My doctor of late told me he wants to try one..and I'm a little uneasy about it?
lood pressure go from 92/67 to 156/120 to 115/76 (I like the last numbers a lot lol but it won't stay close to that for some reason. The second I start moving around it jumps and dives all over the place)

My heart rate is usually anywhere between 85-175 if I'm moving around and I draw from so dizzy if I do anything strenuous. Even climbing stairs can almost knock me out.
Answers:    Beta blockers (sometimes written as β-blocker) are a class of drugs used for various indications, but particularly for the management of cardiac arrhythmias, cardioprotection after myocardial infarction (heart attack), and hypertension.
Beta-blockers control the speed and force of heart beat by blocking the action of hormones such as adrenaline that make the heart beat faster and more enthusiastically.
-effects include constriction of the air passage and small blood vessels, leading to cold hands and foot. They can conceal low blood sugar levels in diabetics - "selective" beta-blockers are less predictable to do this than other forms of the drug.
Tiredness or fatigue may also be experienced.
In your case Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome suspected.
Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (often referred to as just postural tachycardia syndrome or POTS) is a condition of dysautonomia, and more specifically, orthostatic intolerance, in which a modify from the supine position to an upright position causes an abnormally generous increase in heart rate, called tachycardia. This is often, but not other, accompanied by a fall in blood pressure. Several studies show a grow less in cerebral blood flow with systolic and diastolic CBF velocity decrease 44 and 60%, respectively Patients with POTS have problems maintaining homeostasis when varying position, i.e. moving from one chair to another or reaching above their heads. Many patients also experience symptoms when stationary or even while lying down.
