Moderate Intussception?
I was diagnosed by both a Gasterologist and Surgeon telling me that I had intussception and the surgeon told me that surgery be the only way to fix this but I did not have insurance at the time.
I get insurance I had to see another surgeon to do the surgery. He then told me that he would do more harm consequently good and says that putting me on a nutrition diet would help.
I don't see how this could be moderate intussception the big symptom of it is that it make me feel so uncomfortable that it makes me depressed.
ssusception is telescoping of one portion of the intestine (intussusceptum) into an adjacent segment (intussuscipiens), causing intestinal jam and sometimes intestinal ischemia.
Intestinal ischemia is a medical emergency.
If intussusception is confirmed, an air enema is used for reduction, which lessens the possibility and consequences of perforation. The intussusceptum can be successfully reduced in 75 to 90% of children. Children are observed overnight after reduction to rule out occult perforation. If reduction is unsuccessful, on the spot surgery is required. Without surgery, the recurrence rate is 5 to 10%. Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intussuscep…
