Answers:     Exercising twice a week is not enough. Kick it up to at least possible 5 times a week at least an hour a day. Eat healthy. Please cut track back on the sugars, starches and white flour based foods. It took a three of months and shed 25 pounds. I'm now at 122/73..I be 148/90. I never took any blood pressure meds.
The main item to do is to increase your physical activity. Shoot for 3 - 5 times a week of mild activity like a specific hoof it or light weight training. Also do your best to eat better. Avoid snack foods, overly processed foods, or foods beside sugar in ihgh amounts. Try to avoid High Fructose Corn syrup (read labels).
nding on your substance, having your blood pressure in the 130's is just fine...which might nick a couple months to get it there.

PS a small fraction of people realize lower BP near lower sodium in their diets...but some can be quite sensitive to excess so see for yourself.
Take the medication the doctor prescribes.
Reduce your sodium intake, cut out things that have sodium, soda, salty items.
