Are heart palpitations and other things unsafe?
I have been noticing more and more heart palpitations ( I focus that's what they are called) It feels like my heart just did a really big hammer I guess you could say. I usually start feeling over heated, but I get hot really smoothly (I can never sleep in long pants or in a long sleeved shirt even beside air conditioning and a fan on) this usually happens when I'm lay on my side at night doing nothing. Also, if it has anything to do beside it I get shortness of breath, I get that like every other hours of daylight sometimes. It feels like i can't take a reflective breath and it feels better not to breathe (not even yawning helps this). Sometimes I start hearing close to a really high-pitched noise too. I know it can come from electronics, but I hear it more often when I start over heat with heart palpitations. I can start trying to breath heavier or feel 'winded' sometimes i also get really hot and I own to change my clothes even if the temperature is cool. I did have asthma as a child, but I'm 14 now and haven't had any other symptoms, not even allergies. My nails can be peel layer by layer if that makes a difference and i don't know if this is everyday, but when I open my moth wide the corner on my lips seem blueish and lose color (it's not really noticeable you have to be pretty close to see it) I also get tired a great deal, but I'm also a teenager lol. My mom said she suspected i have an iron deficiency and I'm due for blood work within the summer. Is this normal? Thanks!
Answers: No, not majority. Your mom sounds right; iron deficiency anemia would explain all of it, even the brittle nails.
blood requests iron to form hemoglobin, the compound in red blood cells that transport oxygen. Failure to form hemoglobin results in palpitations, shortness of breath and windedness, tinnitis (the ringing contained by your ears), tiredness, koilonychia (brittle, thin nails), spasms, numbness, loss of appetite, and itching. Basically your body wouldn't be getting enough oxygen.
But, you should still go to the doctor to rule out more serious heart problems resembling VSD or ASD. Source(s): Cardio student
You are not having palpitations but are feeling a spirit that is speedily tapping on your chest. The high pitched whine (tinnitus) is also caused by this spirit. Source(s): http://www.georgedstewart.com/index.html

You have described the condition I had trouble beside since I was about your age. I am now 21 and my condition is what I would close to to refer to as "under control." I am not a doctor by any means, I am just deeply intelligent and did several different things to try and solve the problem because I could not, unfortunately, afford medical attention. One more thing... I did have a rear legs injury the summer before I went into high university. I did not notice anything until after this injury.
lems with back injury:
Herniated Disk (don't reflect on that happened to me)
Pinched Nerve in Back (upper left side of the support for me)
Keep in mind, doctors will be able to specifically diagnose your condition which could have like peas in a pod symptoms but could be a different condition all together.
Stay AWAY from these:
-Saturated fat increases LDL (BAD Cholesterol)
-Trans fats increases LDL and lowers HDL (GOOD Cholesterol)
k, Cheese, Pepperoni, HAMBURGER, basically ANY RED MEAT
-PIZZA is VERY BAD, I used to eat this stuff religiously seriously...
-Ice Cream can be eaten within moderation, pizza too but try to stay away until your condition improves...
its and Vegetables
-Water is your best friend
-Fibers (Soluble fiber can lower cholesterol and your can find from sources such as HONEY NUT CHERRIOS)
-GOOD Fats - Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated Fats which you can get from BAKED chips, NUTS, and many more!
n Meats - FISH, CHICKEN, TURKEY
Please email me and I can answer ANY question and go into more detail... I will even get you MY diet plan!
