Can blood pressure rise THIS giant during a hysterics attack?
I had a panic attack yesterday, because I thought I had ingested too several pain pills... I called the ambulance, and the recorded my blood pressure my blood pressure as 196/124 and my heart rate be 120 per minute. My usual blood pressure is around 150/95 and my heart rate is usually at 95.

196/124 is incredibly elevated. Then again, a usual BP of 150/95 is quite high, and considered hypertension. I've had my systolic(first number) blood pressure angle about 50 when having a panic attack. It is minus a doubt possible for your blood pressure to raise that much during a panic attack. yes it can, because during an anxiety attack you "panic" you believe you are dying. It is like someone is standing with a gun to your chief, of course your are going to freak, and your body is going to act accordingly. But within are alot of things that help, and alot that don't. don't drink alot of caffine, or smoke alot, and while people smoke to relax, it only hinder you during a panic attack. capably i would assume so. i got really upset with a telemarketer the other day and my blood pressure be like 155\105, i would assume that with a true panic attack that that would be especially normal.
