170/88 Blood pressure. What's this scrounging? I'm generally 108/70?
i was at my dr on tues daytime and i was so nervose when i went in my bp be 150/90 and she had to take it again when i calmed down so then it be 132/90 and she said bp really shouldn't go over 140/90 so i would say to go to the doctor for doesn`t matter what reason it spiked you got to bring it down.
Luck
one time doesn't really tell you anything.
i appropriate my blood pressure twice a day everyday of the week and it always has fluctuated between the morning and the evening. doctor asked me to keep hold of records, so i do.
every morn my pressure is a little on the low side usually between 100/110 then surrounded by the evening its always above 125 to 135.
sometimes it's over 140 but on the average it's around 130 which could be considered high except that the morning is lower. after a couple of weeks you wold get a better impression of what it really is, i'm told it also depends a lot on how you feel rather than a moment ago reading the numbers. i feel fine and so i don't worry about it. i'm lower than constant doctor care and make routine visits so the doctors can check me out.
h is a sign of sickness.
keep checking it and if it doesn't come down, see your doctor.
good luck to ya
blood pressure can vary from high to low through out the day and it doesn't have it in mind much. what you need to look for is a consistantly elevated pressure... so check your pressure the same time every day for more or less two weeks, if more of the pressures are elevated than are normal, it's time to discuss the issue with a doctor.
