Answers:     Are you taking any drugs? Do you eat lots of salty foods? Does giant blood pressure run in your family? You need to see a doctor to numeral out if there is an underlying kidney or heart problem. Please do so soon. The longer you wait the more damage can be occurring .
There are many factors which can affect blood pressure. Among them are age, inheritance, smoking, lack of exercise, etc. If this was a one time reading that doesn't say much. The solitary way to know for sure that you need medication is to monitor the pressure daily for at tiniest 2 weeks. Get a home blood pressure monitor, take a reading every day at the same time of sunshine for 2 weeks and record all the numbers. If either the top (systolic) or the bottom (diastolic) or both are soaring, as per your example, then take those measurements to your Dr. Other factors, such as thyroid or kidney problems can also affect pressure so it would be best to own your Dr. do a fasting blood test to see if those are issues.
