14 yrs. hoary wit heart murmur..Help!!?

i am 14 years old with a heart murmur and i was wondering what could be wrong, i started experiencing sour reflux a couple a months ago, and have always had shortness of breath and other being light headed..... i dont know what could be wrong because my cholestrol level are just about perfect.. i am really confused on what could be wrong...
Answers:    I remember I be diagnosed with a heart murmur at 13. It's pretty scary, but in my kith and kin its genetic.
did this ultra sound thingy on my chest to diagnose me.

It sounds like your BP might be high and that would grounds shortness of breath and dizziness. I used to see black spots when mine's would shoot up.

Heart murmurs are not connected directly to either reflux or cholesterol. Many are benign flow murmurs and are of no consequence. Your murmur does of course need investigated next to an echo-cardiogram being the minimum test. Source(s): GP for more years than I care to remember
