Whats wrong next to my heart?

hey, im 14 years old,
ve a heart condition wpw beside svt, which means pre-excitation of the ventricles however i had an ablation to get rid of that, but my svt (which medium by heart can go up to 400 bpm) has come back, they said i may own a short circuit in my heart or another heart condition has developed where my pathway be removed..
so im gonna have another ablation soon..
they have put me on some heart medicine which i hold been on for about 3 weeks, and this morning i have woken up near a sensation of butterflies (you know the ones you get when your excited) in my heart, with roughly 3 chest pains,
i think im going to go for a ecg test at my local, but i would similar to to be refered to great ormond street hospital who done my operation before as i feel more comfortable there, do you presume my local will refer me there?
what do you think is wrong?
thank you x
Answers:    Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) is an occasional swift heart rate. "Paroxysmal" means from time to time.
The condition occurs most often surrounded by young people and infants.
Radiofrequency energy is used to verbs abnormal electrical pathways in heart tissue or usual parts that are contributing to a cardiac arrhythmia. It is used in recurrent atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation(AF), supraventricular tachycardia(SVT) and some types of ventricular arrhythmia.

In view of your age and your olden connection with Great Ormond Street, all I can enunciate is I would refer you back there. Source(s): GP for more years than I care to remember
Hi, can you re-edit and notify me which medication you are taking? If Great Ormond street did your operation before, there is a high opening you will be referred there again.
nswer your question, Supra-ventricular means originate above the ventricles, tachycardia means fast atrial heartbeats If the electrical impulses reenter the atria via a bypass tract, this is set as Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome.

WPW is a common cause of SVT. With WPW there is an impressive electrical connection between the atria and ventricles and this extra tissue is a short circuit between these chambers. It provides an extra pathway for electrical impulses to be conducted through the tissue that generally blocks electrical impulses between the atria and ventricles.

The recurrence rate is roughly 4%. They will do the same procedure as before which should sort the problem out. Source(s): Cardiac Nurse
I hope R_R sees your question. You will catch a far better answer than I can give.

The amount of heart tissue that is damaged during a typical CA procedure (3x5 mm) is insignificant for overall heart pumping function. The blotch tissue formed appears to remain stable over time and to not cause problems even years later. Sorry, you could probably tell us more in the order of ablation than we can tell you.
times a forgiving is fitted with a pacemaker, but I believe they are few and far between.

Perhaps your meds need adjusting.

I hink if you enjoy a word with your GP your wish to return to Great Ormond Street will be granted.
