Triglycerides from hell..?

I was just diagnosed with glorious triglycerides. I know that I must now limit my grain and sugar intake. Can I still devour oatmeal? I know it is good for lowering cholesterol, but I read you have to limit adjectives grains to lower my triglyceride level. It might seem a silly interview, but I'd really like to know.
, does anyone know of a great sample diet.. one that actually tell you what to fix for meals.. this is new to me and I need adjectives the help I can get..
Answers:    I used to have glorious triglycerides and actually ended up eating more of them (no one told me not to)... my height went down... I exercised more and cut out sugars from beverages, ate less desserts, and most importantly, cut down on alcohol. If you are of the drinking age and drink a lot, I really suggest that works to lower triglycerides more than anything else. But anyhow, yes, you can still eat oatmeal. It's the refined grains that are doomed to failure. Here's a site you might like. They give some food guidlines.
