n't know if you're male or womanly, the symptoms can differ in the sexes. I am female and I can tell you from my own personal experience of have a heart attack at 42....Crushing chest pain that comes and goes is what got my attention. I have put up with it for several days before I sought medical attention. BIG MISTAKE! The whole time that I be praying the pain would pass, a little bit of my heart muscle be dying. I ended up having a 98% occlusion (clot or plaque) of my coronary artery. Fixed it with angioplasty and nearly $400 a month worth of heart and blood pressure medications. Could have dropped dead at any minute. A heart attack is not other a sudden, violent sort of attack. It can be slow and insidious. Of course, any chest pain should alert you that something is wrong and you need to capture to a doctor fast. Other signs are pain in the arms (either one) or a choking or twinge sensation in the neck area, difficulty breathing (this is a big one), overall poor quality and the feeling that your muscles are "burning", in females, nausea and vomiting sometimes/often occur. Keep an eye on your blood pressure and hold it under control!
Grillparzer, those are symptoms of a stroke, not a heart attack...
What's your cholesterol? Even active folks have discouraging cholesterol. Mine was 185, not bad? LOL, there be no good cholesterol at all. Get it checked and live long and prosper.
