Can anyone explain this please?
I'm a 42 yr old female and have have 3 workups including CBC's, diseases and genetic testing, Ekg's, Stress test, ECHO & 24 hr holter done.
of my bloodwork came hindmost within the normal limits near the exception of Sodium (135) & EGFR (59 & 73) lvs being alittle on the lower side
(how could my efgr be 66 for 4 years then drop to 59 then dance back to 73 in 6 mths? doctor or lab errors maybe?)
Symptoms for 6 mths - 1 yr - Blackouts, fatigue, breathing problems, swelling within my left leg/ankle, palpations, dizziness, chest pain; some squeezing, some palps, irreg, skipped. I went from walking & running 5-6 days a week for 18 mths straight, to almost not able to do anything.
not have copies of my recent tests, but here are my previous EKG's -
4/27/2007
Sinus Rhythm, rate 51[Normal P Axis, rate]
Multiple Ventricular premature complexes [Short R-R, all-embracing QRS]
nterval short for rate [QTC ,360 ms]
11/21/2008 (3rd EKG in a row)
Normal ECG except for rate [Sinus Bradycardia] vent rate 58
/2009
Sinus rhythm with frequent pvc's
Poor R wave progression
Septal T current changes are nonspecific
/2009
Sinus rhythm with PVC's
Septal T wave change ar nonspecific
frequent pvc's, bigeminy's, svt, vt's of unknown make happen
no structural heart problems found
any clues, suggestions? thanks in advance
Answers: Hello, concerning VTs; when a pt has 3 or more than 3 beats of PVC's is very significant because of the possibility of developing a VT or Ventricular Tachycardia which is a Life threatening Arrhythmia, it funds that the Ventricle for some reason is irritable and because of that it could fire many times at a very briskly speed which it makes it dangerous and difficult for it to beat at fundamentally high rates when VT occurs, 3 or more beats is what we call for a run of VT ( Ventricular Tachycardia ) and definitely can cause loss of consciousness, are drinking a lot of coffee, do you drink alcohol regularly or are you taking any medication or smoking and you haven't tell your Doctor ?, if you haven't tell him exactly about your traditions and the Echo says that your heart is fine then I think you should mention it if you are, except then you should continue to follow up with Dr, did they already found you a Cardiologist? : ), I hope you they can comfort you out and I sincerely wish you the best, if you don't mind you could keep me inform, I will like to know what is cause your heart to develop these Arrhythmias.
