Heart Palpitations Related to Anxiety?

Hey everyone, I am a 15 year old male. I have no form problems except that I am a little bit overweight. I was diagnosed with Anxiety disorder roughly a month ago and I am currently taking the generic form of Celexa (Citalopram). I get heart palpitations when I am sitting for an extended period of time and I get up. It feel like my heart is fluttering and I am short of breath. It goes away in roughly 10 seconds. I have never had these back until I first developed anxiety late last year. Do you think it's lately my anxiety or something more serious?
Answers:    I think it is your anxiety!
ss/Anxiety can play a major part on your heart rate and can bring your heart to race.

You know just before a assessment or just before you start speaking in public or back you do anything that makes you nervous your heart starts racing? That is a usual reaction.

I highly recommend that you try to keep stress and anxiety down....stress and anxiety can organize to alot of health problems if you have it for along time!

So please just try to relax...and I wouldn't verbs about this.
