258 Cholesterol Level - Healthy Young Female - How and why? What can I do?
I'm 22 years old and my Cholesterol level is supposedly 258; I donated blood and found this out. My BP is quite good, however.

I ride my bike 5-6 days a week - to work and school
My diet is small and consists of breads, dairies, fruits, veggies, lean meats.
I have high cholesterol and cut out eggs in my diet. Didn't change a give attention to, except the eggs. Within 3 months, my cholesterol was checked again and it was in the pefect continuum.
You inevitability to see your doctor, it sounds like you may need to be on some medication for that. If you are already eating hearty...It could be that it's hereditary. Does high cholesterol or heart disease run in your family circle. You do need to see a doctor, 258 is pretty high... High Cholesterol is also a risk factor for heart disease. If you do not get this below control ...plaque can start building in your arteries and that causes a heart attack.
Diet will invariably affect cholesterol levels any good or bad. Dairy foods and red meats within particular are high in sopping wet fats and these are what raise cholesterol levels within the blood. If you cut back hard on dairy products or at the very tiniest use low fat milk and cut red meat out and eat fish and chicken instead, your levels are bound to develop. Healthy fats are unstaturated fats which come from plants and vegetables such as olives, peanuts, avocados etc. Research has shown that some of these 'good' fat can lower the bad cholesterol (LDL) in our blood and increase the good cholesterol (HDL). I focus you are too young to be taking cholesterol lowering drugs and unless there is no other way to lower your cholesterol I would stay okay clear of them. Statins are well known to have serious side effects.
