HDL-C is considered a refusal risk factor for CHD?

I had a blood work, and my HDL is 74. They say that it is better to have the HDL dignified, >39. but then they posted this comment: "according to the atp-III guidelines, hdl-c > 59 mg/dl is considered a negative risk factor for CHD".
A denial risk factor is just the opposite. If the factor is present, then the condition is LESS possible.

e are plenty of heart attacks that happen contained by persons with a good HDL even too. It does not necessarily make you safe.
