Alcohol and soaring blood pressure medication? Best Answer!?

Ok so I'm a 20 year old guy and I have high blood pressure. Yeah I know...I'm childlike, it sucks. But I have a history of it on both sides of my family so I'm doomed haha.
.... I will be starting on high bloobd pressure medication surrounded by 2-3 weeks. My question is am I allowed to consume alcohol while on the medication? I know alcohol raises BP... But can I drink beer while taking it?

I'm a college guy and a light drinker. I drink once a week, sometimes once every couple weeks.
Answers:     In general most medicines don't get along capably with alcohol . Be sure to ask your doctor or pharmacist but mostly alcohol and medicine don't play well together.
man, just forget those beers for a little while..be easy on yourself..do not put too much pressure to your body.. furthermore, i surmise that you should just forget about alcohol, smoking and eating too much solid. you have high blood pressure. and if that condition add next to these things, it can be serious. maybe not now, but when u reach 30-40 years matured. they can lead to heart problem like angina, cardiac infection, atherosclerosis and more serious hypertension. it also can cause stroke, thrombosis and closely of other things.
it is not smart to drink alcohol while on BP meds.
ou insist on doing that, you will end in the least damage to yourself by drinking a low alcohol beer, slowly over an evening.

it might be worth doing some research about effect of red wine on HBP meds. it might vary.
What does it voice on your prescription insert? does it warn you about alcohol while on the medicine? Maybe beckon your pharmacist and not trust your life to people on yahoo.
