For those whom are on warfarin. My daughter is on warfarin due to a prosthetic mitral spout.?

She just started a new bottle 30 tabs of 1 mg. on Wednesday. Since afterwards she has been complaining of itching and a rash on her lower extremities. A little bit of discomfort on her arms. I hold given her benadryl and have put "Gold Bond" lotion on her leg and arms. Of course, her level of tolerance decreases after giving her her each day dose at night. Has anyone experienced this? The lab name of the pills that I am giving her from her new bottle is BASS LABS. Her other ones be TARO.
Answers:    She is likely allergic to one of the additives in the pills...probably the colour dye....ask you Chemist to check if there is any different ingredient surrounded by them that may have caused this reaction. Probably a fitting idea to go back to the doctor too and show them the impulsive on her legs. I would say she needs to stop taking these pills ASAP but as you dont have any others thats not an substitute until you get the regular brand that she isnt allergic to. The Benadryl etc is a good course of treatment for you to do for your daughter. I remember being itchy adjectives the time when I started warfarin but it went away after a fewweeks and has not bothered me at all within the last 3 years.
