Is ventricular bigeminy treacherous?

I have an EKG where I have a cut-out of bigeminy at the end, which ran for 6 beats.
joy alot of PVC's, in addition to sinus tachycardia, supraventricular tachycardia, high blood pressure, and leaky heart valve.

I'm very young (in my 20's), and I do not drink or smoke but I still suffer from the aforementioned issues.

However, this does not mean it is automatically going to cause problems for you. You did not mention that you have heart disease, so the risk of cause v-fib may be less likely since you are in your 20's, don't smoke or drink, and enjoy much fewer risk factors. Also, sinus tach and SVT, as you mentioned, are unlikely to pose problems.

I would think base on the above information, the study would be a positive choice. However, you need to talk with your electrophysiologist in connection with your concerns as well.
of luck to you. Source(s): RN, BSN, MS
Absolutely not dangerous. The key phrase contained by the post above is that PVCs in people with heart disease may predict adverse events.
Your EP hopefully desires to do an EP study for the SVT which may be able to be treated w/ an ablation. Perhaps he or she can also bill for studying you for your PVCs, but it is not necessary.
How leaky are your valves? It is immaculately within normal limits to enjoy mild leaking. Sinus tachycardia is not an arrhythmia unless it is inappropriate--perhaps you are stressed from worrying about your health and this is raise your heart rate and blood pressure.
I am sorry that you are going through this, I'm sure you would much rather be enjoying life while you are immature. Try to stay calm and keep things in perspective, live the healthiest natural life you can--eat well, exercise a bit each day, work complicated and also get some relaxation time in.
