Today was the 2nd day of my menstral cycle, and I was a work. I go through 10 super tampons, and still it was HEAVY! This is very abnormal for me. I have to excuse my self several times just to run to the bathroom. This all happened when I be doing patient care at my hospital. It is not painful, but I feel like I was bleeding to death! It's never be THIS bad before. I normally enjoy regular periods SO I guess my question is what a 'typical' amount of time between changing tampons surrounded by gereral? Because this a few times an hour and it has just NOT giving up! Should I be worried?

Sometimes these things transpire. Not every period you have will be the same. Make sure you drink alot of hose, though, and get more rest than you usually do. I know, these kinds aren't fun at all.
The fact that you were not in throbbing is a good sign, but that is NOT a normal amount of blood to be losing from a time.
work at a hospital so it shouldn't be hard for you to take aside a female doctor and smoothly ask this question to her!

sweetie its not normal at your age but if you own fibroid or endromitrosis then yes u can have periods be you feel your bleeding to death go to a specialist surrounded by gyncology and they can help with the problem im much older than you i regard as and im going threw menapause and my periods were irregular and i would have these period were i would bleed like your talking give or take a few and i ended up in my emergency room and they did all kind of tests.and they said i was fine but i did have fibroids i regard as 2 of them and my uterus was the size of 3 month fetus, well my periods get less and less and now i thank god i dont even hold a period anymore and fibroids disappeared the gyncologist said and i was so happy,but surrounded by your case im not sure what is your problem so if your in doubt dont hesitate to ask a doctor to take the edge off your mind....
That is definitely not the norm. There is a number of things that could bring an increase in your bleeding and i would definitely suggest checking in near a doctor if nothing else just to make sure.
Wow. That was profoundly of blood. It is very abnormal. A super tampon should be good for three or four hours. I own always been a heavy bleeder where on earth I had to wear a super plus tampon and a heavy bad. This is something that I would purloin up with your gynecologist.
