Do dengue mosquitoes other take dengue?

I got bitten by a mosquito. I killed it and noticed the white stripes on its body and legs, a all your own of a dengue mosquito. And I'm worried! Please answer.
Answers:    If you are in Queensland...
dengue mosquito looks like many other mosquitoes within north Queensland so it is difficult to identify without the use of a microscope. As a rule of thumb, if you have mosquitoes biting you indoors during the day within north Queensland, it is likely that they are dengue mosquitoes.

Dengue mosquitoes are common in Queensland but usually do not take dengue. A female mosquito can only become infected with dengue after biting an infected human who is viraemic near dengue (ie. there are enough dengue virus particles surrounded by the person’s blood to infect a mosquito).

Hope that helps. Source(s): http://www.health.qld.gov.au/dengue/deng…
Not every mosquito is going to transmit dengue or any of the diseases such as malaria or viral encephalitis. The mosquito has to be infected by the virus or protozoa before it can transmit the disease to a human target. That is why some people get bitten by mosquito, but never actually shut in anything dengue or otherwise.
