Been diagnosed next to herpes simplex (oral)...?

A few weeks back, I was diagnosed with herpes simplex (oral). This one is not an STD. it is transmitted by touching the things used by an infected party. The doctor said that the infection could occur again and gave me a cream to apply if it did.
I don't know how to relay that to my girlfriend. We haven't kissed yet, but I do love her and don't want to put her at any risk. The Herpes virus stays in the body lifelong.
I really don't know how to tell her this. I can't kiss her. I should not agree to her touch any where near my mouth.
What do I do??
Answers:    it would only affect her or verbs to her if you have an outbreak. she would be fine if you didnt.
my mom is a carrier and she's only painstaking if she has an outbreak everyone else in my house is fine Source(s): my mom
If your broken out right now, DO NOT KISS HER.... You have need of to tell her that you have herpes. That isn't fair to her. That is REALLY REALLY F'd up if you DON'T describe her. If I was your girlfriend and you didn't tell me and I found out through someone else...Yeah you would be dumped!
